People photograph best when they are relaxed, conformable and in fun/ familiar surroundings. Think of your photo session as a fun family outing.

Your session can take place in a park, the centre of your town, your home or any location of your choice. Anywhere where you and your family can be just yourselves.

For babies I recommend a quieter, calmer setting, your own home is often ideal.

Your session will last at least 1 to 3 hours, taking breaks whenever necessary to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable.

The personality of your family will play an important role in how I will structure our session; a telephone consultation one week beforehand will enable to discuss your requirements and expectations.

Style Guidelines

I suggest wearing clothing that reflects your individuality. Color is good, vibrant hues have great photographic impact, Denim provides wonderful color and texture opportunities too.

Neutral colors are also recommended and particularly suited to family portraits, I advise ensuring that colors worn in group portraits are similar or complementary. Character, logo or heavily patterned garments are not recommended.

Simplicity is the key for babies up to six months old, little or no clothing works best. I'll be pleased to provide additional clothing advice during our pre-session consultation.
